OUR TEAM

Mary-Lynn Charlton - A former reporter, photographer and government chief of staff, Mary-Lynn set up shop in 1989 to provide professional communications. She’s still at it. Something must be working.

Lyle Hewitt – we sometimes call him “Jack” as in “jack-of-all-trades": Charlton’s top writer, magazine manager, media buyer and data manager.

Jo Anne Lauder – with a degree from Toronto’s Seneca College graphic design program and 25 years of experience, our senior designer can usually solve a client’s problem before they finish explaining it. Now that’s good!

Sharon Baldwin – Sharon takes the “master” part of her Masters’ degree in English very seriously. She can spot a split infinitive or misplaced apostrophe better than anyone we know.

Jeannie Armstrong – need help writing? Call an award winner! Jeannie won the Best Practices award from the Canadian Newspaper Association and Best in Business Awards from the Canadian Daily Newspaper Publishers Association.

Brad Hardie – when he’s not bragging about the weather in Vancouver, Brad can boast a degree in Design and Illustration from the Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and professional member status from the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.

Lynette Keyowski - an agricultural policy and research analyst with enough letters after her name to make alphabet soup, she’s been a consultant, executive director of the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) and an analyst for Sigma Analytics. Lynette helps with our agriculture “big picture” work.

Marilyn Charlton – no, it’s not a typo nor have we perfected cloning. “Marilyn with an i” is all about cattle: she is General Manager of the Saskatchewan Hereford Association (SHA), produces the SHA newsletter and is the First Vice President of Canadian Western Agribition. She manages projects and publications as skillfully as she wrangles cattle.

Kelly Gallagher (on leave) - Kelly has skills in media relations, strategic communications, writing and creative development. But none of this will do you any good right now, because he’s off working on projects for the provincial government. But he’ll be back…

Melina Jackson – our whip-cracking accountant and office administrator keeps track of the money – and that’s important.

Clair Brandow – her friendly charm and hard-working efficiency are an unbeatable combination. She answers the phones, traffic manages and generally keeps things on track.

STRATEGIC PARTNERS

Paul Martin – you’ve heard him on the radio, seen him on TV and read him in the papers. Paul, one of Western Canada’s top professional communicators, is a consultant to Charlton Communications when we need help.

Steve McDonnell - designer, illustrator, art director, website developer, programmer – what doesn’t he do? Steve is a graduate of the Visual Communications program at the Alberta College of Art.

Chad Belkin – do a Google search for “cutting edge” and Chad’s picture will probably pop up. He’s five steps ahead of everyone else in social marketing and internet media of all types.

Jocelyn Martin - With experience in event planning, logistics and project management, Jocelyn brings a strong background to our event planning, grand openings and media events.

Marsha Martin - Marsha makes great things happen. As an event planning specialist, she has an eye for detail that reflects well on her clients in any situation.
